Mario received a B.S. in Physics (Honors) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Honors) from the University of Kansas in 2018. The same year he joined the Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences department at the University of Michigan as a Graduate Researcher in the Center for Ultrafast Optical Science. His research interests include laser-plasma interactions, plasma based electron acceleration, and compact radiation sources.
