Stephen received his B.S. degree in Physics and Computer Science from Union College (Schenectady, NY). He is a physics graduate student at the University of Michigan working with Alec Thomas at the Center for Ultrafast Optics. His current projects include computer modeling of plasmas using particle-in-cell (PIC) codes and developing impact ionization models for the PIC code OSIRIS.
