Peter Kordell graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2013 with B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics. He is a PhD candidate in the Physics Department of the University of Michigan conducting his doctoral research with the High Field Science Group. His current research interest is in the experimental study of high intensity laser interactions with critical density targets.
