Amina received a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics from McGill University in 2013, and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University in 2015, before joining the Applied Physics department at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include high intensity laser plasma interactions, laser wakefield acceleration and direct laser acceleration.
